Sprites, Jets and Elves – Divine Flowers?

Ever wondered where the tradition of giving flowers comes from?

We’re about to find out!

It is proposed that a rarely seen upper atmospheric lighting phenomenon called Transient Luminous Events (TLEs) were observed on a grand scale during times of recent planetary upheaval and that ancient cultures saw them as divine flowers.   

The God King Scenario (GKS)

For “billions of years now” (two can play at that game) my stance has always been that the Solar System is a smoking gun indicating a very recent planetary rearrangement in our solar system. In support of my thesis (GKS), I’ve called upon ancient history, mythology and along with my Extraterrestrial Sands book, work has begun to tear down the so-called geologic time column.

Now, it stands to reason that if ancient cultures lived in a world dominated by errant bodies gracing our skies (notably Mars, Venus, Mercury and the Moon), that electrical interactions, between bodies must have been prevalent – moreover, observed and either deified or represented in one form or another.

The king of the gods Amun = Aurora

This is most certainly the case when it came to auroral manifestations – magical dancing neon lights that today are largely restricted to the Polar Regions (northern and southern lights) were a major feature in ancient times. Intense solar activity (solar eruptions) gave rise to an enchanted array of coloured lights emblazoned across the celestial sphere – observed at all latitudes, day and night – made visible during the day as a result of a Solar System shrouded in gas and dust which gave the Sun the appearance of a veiled red orb, exactly as depicted in Egyptian art (see Red Sun). The Egyptians deified this spectacular omnipresent auroral light show as the ‘King of the Gods’ Amun. The epithets and imagery of the “Hidden One, the Mysterious of Form,” wholly consistent with my identification (See Amun).

Transient Luminous Events or TLEs

In addition to Amun’s manifestations, another electrical phenomenon that featured prominently during ancient times was upper atmospheric lightning labelled ‘Transient Luminous Events’ (TLEs). Flashy events also known as ‘Sprites,’ ‘Jets’ and ‘Elves.’

  • Sprites—The most common TLE is a flash of red light directly above large thunderstorms. Sprites flash a fraction of a second after strong lightning strokes, soaring up almost 60 miles high. They are most frequently seen in the Midwest.

  • Blue Jets—A blue jet is a dim blue light that rises like a quick puff of smoke above heavy hailstorms. They are quite rare and usually can only be seen from airplanes.

  • Elves—Elves are brief disks of dim light that appear around 60 miles high in the atmosphere. Actually, the name is an abbreviation of the disk’s real name—Emissions of Light and Very low frequency from EMP Sources.

  • Trolls—These red spots pop near cloud tops after the flash of an extremely strong red sprite. Like Elves, Trolls are an abbreviation: Transient Red Optical Luminous Lineament.

  • Gnomes—The tiniest and quickest flashes are gnomes. They are small white spikes of light that flash for a microsecond from the top of a large thundercloud’s anvil.

Red Sprites and Blue Jets Explained

I am proposing that these collective bursts of energy were observed on a grand scale discharging out into space not only from earth but also bursting forth from the four main perpetrators of chaos Mars, Venus, Mercury and the Moon in the guise of Egypt’s renamed divine Horus Kings. Drawing from the native flora, the Egyptians saw this spectacle as blooming flowers and portrayed them as such – notably as the lotus and papyrus flowers. These sacred emblems are a prominent feature in Egyptian art and can be found adorning, temple walls, tombs and atop of columns (pillars) the length and breadth of the Nile Valley. The intertwining of the lotus and papyrus was frequently used to represent a unified Upper and Lower Egypt, or as I contend, heaven and Earth.

Above: top two images are actual papyrus plants. Bottom left we have the ‘blue’ lotus (can be a variety of colours) and on the right flowering electrical sprites. It doesn’t take much imagination to see the connection. I would argue the similarity is striking.

TLEs could be described as rare ‘horizon events’ for they are mostly observed on the horizon above thunderclouds. This wasn’t the case during times of planetary upheaval. TLEs were far more prevalent – along with auroral manifestations they danced across the heavens day and night globally, and although water vapour played a major part, thunderclouds were not a precondition for TLEs. This incessant floral light show was initiated by a continuous flux of gas and dust falling to earth – the source of this material…. the god of war, pharaonic Mars.

But none of this even begins to compare to the colossal amounts of debris that fell to Earth. As with Mars, this would also include large rocks, boulders, stones, lots of water and sand. All this and more was swallowed up by Earth and to a large part is responsible for the majority of the sedimentary deposits laid down across the globe, especially on the continental blocks. Here we have material believed to be indigenous to Earth whereas it is actually from Mars.

This would also include Earth’s oceans – indeed, Earth’s water owes its existence to the depletion of the oceans that once covered parts of the red planet. In support of this I would ask; where do scientists think the oceans on Mars disappeared to? The answer is a simple one: they were sucked up by Earth during the many Earth/Mars encounters in the not-too-distant past.

Earth’s atmosphere was laden with gas and dust, especially water (water vapour). The demise of Mars providing a constant flow of material. Falling through this electrically charged environment were countless tons of meteors – it was meteors that provided the trigger for the majority of TLEs. They bombarded earth triggering abundant clusters of sprites, jets, elves and other electrical phenomena.  

Meteors triggering TLEs isn’t a new idea.

In addition to these primary mechanisms, it has been suggested that secondary factors could play a role in sprite initiation, including meteoritic dust [Zabotin and Wright, 2001] or neutral density depletions produced by atmospheric gravity waves [Pasko et al., 1997b].


It has been discovered that meteors can trigger sprites. Meteors leave an electrically conducting trail, like a lightning rod, from the ionosphere into the lower atmosphere.

TLEs today are brief flashes of light, however, the same dense atmospheric wall of gas, dust and water vapour that assisted in cloaking the Sun red also granted longevity to TLEs. It caused them to fluoresce for a number of seconds as opposed to a brief flash – it also made them grow in size – initiating glorious gigantic floral imprints on the heavens. This, of course, deemed TLEs far more prevalent and much more prominent than anything witnessed today.

Gas and dust also gave halos and elves (and other forms of TLEs) greater radiance – giving the sprites a more bell-shaped appearance as depicted in the Egyptian images above. Actually, the bell-shaped papyrus flowers in these paintings do not exist in nature. This, I believe, offers further credence to my theory, in that the AEs (in this case) represented close to what they saw.

TLE colours – an aurora analogy (Amun)

The reader will have noticed most sprites are red and yet the AEs painted the papyrus blooms above greenish-blue with reddish involucres and corollas. That may be so but sprites can appear greenish-blue.

The varying colours of TLEs result from the ionization and excitation of atmospheric constituents e.g., nitrogen, oxygen, hydrogen, etc. – very similar to the process that produces the aurora/Amun.

When the electrons slam into molecules of nitrogen, they cause the nitrogen to glow. Certain energies result in primarily red optical emissions, but in the lower part of the sprite, blue colors can also be seen. The process is not all that dissimilar from the aurora, where the energetic particles are supplied by the solar wind. Oxygen also is activated in the aurora, accounting in part for the green and white colors that also occur in that phenomenon. Some humans see sprites as white or green in color, but that is a result of the inability of the human eye to distinguish colors at such low intensities.

While hydrogen is the most abundant element in the universe, I would suggest earth’s atmosphere was far more hydrogen rich (as too was the solar system in general) during times of planetary upheaval and this resulted in TLEs appearing mainly greenish-blue. The source of this additional hydrogen was, essentially, water (H2O) from Mars.

I take support for hydrogen greenish-blue sprites from the recent discovery of sprites on Jupiter which are “likely to appear blue.”

Regardless of colour, at the very least, the above discovery confirms the existence of electrical sprites blooming forth from other planets. Bear this in mind when viewing some of the images especially those containing blue flowers.

Egyptian Papyrus & Lotus Columns

Columns are a striking feature of ancient Egyptian temples. They are awe inspiring and come in a variety of types – over 30 have been identified. However, they are all primarily based on either the papyrus or the lotus plants. Variants include columns shaped to look like single steams or bundle steams with a variety a floral capitols which are essentially based on a closed or open buds. The capitols is where the most variants exist.

As with the papyrus and lotus flowers above the inspiration for the construction of such towering masterpieces once again derives from observations of TLEs and their many forms – largely gigantic jets and ‘columniform’ sprites electrically discharging out towards the domain of the gods.

Sprites and the goddess of earth’s ring system, Hathor

Another consequence of cosmic dust was that earth developed a ring system similar to that of the lord of the rings, Saturn (Sokar). Orbiting around earth’s girth this celestial band of debris was deified as the bovine goddess Hathor (Sumerian Ninhursag). Her name means ‘House of Horus’ (Hat-Hor), or house of the god-kings since all pharaohs were the embodiment of Horus. An appropriate title, in that from the perspective of ancient cultures looking up the red orbed kings appeared amidst Hathor. Other epithets would include; Lady of the Sky, Daughter of Re, The Mistress of Heaven, Lady of the Stars; and many, many more. All consistent with my identification (See Hathor).

Now, if I am correct that Hathor was Earth’s deified ring system and the papyrus and lotus flowers were symbolic representations of floral discharges, then it stands to reason that there should be some kind of association between the two. After all, sprites (along with other phenomenon) must have also ‘appeared’ amidst earth’s dust ring. It is with no effort that this is exactly what we find.

Left (and below right) is the sky goddess Hathor in the form of a cow. The wavy lines signify earth’s celestial ring of debris (mountain). The ‘house’ because Hathor was home to numerous incandescent red orbs including that of sun god Re. Hence, the epithet ‘Daughter of Re.’

The ‘housing’ trait further encapsulated in Hathor’s crown which represents quite a common form of the ‘housed’ red disks i.e., the red disk = errant planetary bodies (to include the sun) – the horns symbolize solar wind bow shock and the plumes are the resulting ‘cometary’ tails. And, of course the papyrus flowers – incessant sprites abound, many appearing within Hathor.

The Aurora/Amun and sprites

Similarly, sprites must have present during auroral storms so we should expect to find an association/connection between Amun and floral plasma bursts. Again, the sacred images prove very revealing.

Center stage, the veiled barque of Amun/aurora (‘one whose true form could never be known’) sailing across the heavens in the presence of many blue colored sprites and other phenomenon. In this particular case, they are discharging out towards Horus Behdety, the ‘winged disk’ (center top), the embodiment of Horus kings who appeared to adorn wings (both Mars and Mercury periodically took on the appearance of a winged orb).

Note the proportionally enormous multi-tiered column form ‘tree’ of sprites on the right (also, lower tier). You won’t find any botanical equivalent in nature for good reason… such mammoth apparitions WERE OBSERVED but only during times of intense electrical activity brought about by planetary upheaval.

The God King Scenario (GKS)

The God King Scenario (GKS) deems that the monarchy of ancient cultures were first and foremost guises of primarily Mars, Venus, Mercury and the Moon as they appeared to repeatedly move back and forth to Earth in cosmic encounters lasting 3,000 years (Pharaonic times). They were the embodiment of Horus (ka kings) when reigning over earth as red orbs (“offspring of Re”) and Osiris (star form) when appearing to move away from Earth to die and journey to the duel land above. They were in the second instant represented here on earth numerous times over by people who believed they were ‘at one’ or the earthly manifestation of astral bodies. The earthly kings believed after death they would join with their celestial counterparts or souls (ka’s) to undertake the perilous journey to be reborn in the perceived duel land above, Upper Egypt. The process of mummification was to allow the very essence of a person to be ‘transferred’ to one’s celestial counterpart. Everybody, it was believed was born with a astral soul or ka as the AEs called them (see Egyptian Dualism).  

The Horus ka kings and TLEs

The above provides the foundation for the GKS and with this comes the premise that the exploits of the astral monarchy i.e., births, deaths, marriages, wars and interactions with the gods recorded via the sacred hieroglyphs and pictures are actually a time ordered account of some tumultuous events above. They have little to do with events here on earth (see The Non-Existent Battles of the Pharaohs). One of the main reasons why ancient chronology is in such a mess is because ancient history is essentially upside down.

We have seen how TLEs have been detected on Jupiter (Ptah) – now, if I am correct with my GKS, then it would be logical to assume that any close proximity god king planet would also exhibit TLEs due to the immense electrical (and gravitational) stresses generated. It would further follow that iconography should support this, in that there should be images where the divine monarchy is seen interacting in some way with blooming lotus or papyrus flowers. i.e., electrical sprites. Is this what we find? Does the iconography provide support? Absolutely!!

Mainstream scholars have no idea as to the true meaning of such enigmatic scenes, they can only describe what they see i.e., “Akhenaten and Nefertiti offering flowers to the Aten” would be one such quote. I, however, DO understand the true meaning of the above albeit drawn from symbolism.

ALL such scenes are celestial in connotation.

This is the time of the Amarna Period – the somewhat incomprehensible birth of Mercury/Aten from pharaonic Mars (see The Birth of Mercury). To say this was a confusing time for the AEs to would be an understatement! Suffice to say, the above represents a period just after Mercury birth (‘brief second sun’).   

A gravitational distorted Akhenaten/Mars (“Beneficial to Aten/Mercury”) and Nefertiti/Comet Venus (“The Beautiful One has Arrived”) “offering” electrical sprites to the recently born Aten (mercury) or “Disk of Re” since, for a brief period the Aten/Mercury appeared in the image of our sol. In short – what you see is what you’d expect to see given my stance.

Again just after the birth of Mercury/Aten. On the left we have Tutankhamun/Mars (“Living Image of Amun/Aurora”) involved in ongoing catastrophic encounters with the ‘Great Royal Wife’ Ankhesenamun/Venus (“Living through Amun/Aurora”). And, what you see is exactly what you’d expect to see – Mars and Venus swimming in a sea of electrical carnage. Note again, the multi-tiered ‘sprite trees.’ Also note, no typical zigzag or forked shaped lightning.

Mercury cools somewhat and joins the royal bloodline of god kings. Seti just one of the many names given to Mercury. Seti offers sprites to Horus (embodiment of kingship) to legitimize his right to rule as divine king. Seti means “He of the God Seth.” An appropriate title given the untold chaos Mercury caused. Good or evil, it had to be placated.

EUers’ consider the following.

Setting aside the gravitational influences, the above reveals that electrical interactions between planetary bodies manifest in the form of TLEs – largely gigantic multi-tiered sprites (as seen in the above images) that discharge out into the radial electric field of the Sun. Bodies do not generate direct surface to surface cosmic ‘forked’ thunderbolts. Atmospheres and plasma sheaths would prevent this.
